What is the operating hours of Nitasrattanakosin Exhibition Hall?
Nitasrattanakosin is open from Tuesday – Sunday from 9.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. including public holidays. (Closed on Mondays)
Is the viewing of exhibition available as guided tour only?
1. Visitors are allowed to freely view all exhibition rooms without time limit except the Grandeur Rattanakosin, the Colorful Thai Way of Living, the Heart and Soul of the Nation which could be viewed in guided exhibition tour only.
2. There are 12 rounds of guided exhibition tour. Each round is 30 minutes apart as follows: 09.30 a.m. (First round) / 10.00 a.m. / 10.30 a.m. / 11.00 a.m. / 11.30 a.m. / 12.00 p.m. / 12.30 p.m. / 1.00 p.m. / 1.30 p.m. / 2.00 p.m. / 2.30 p.m. / 3.00 p.m. (Last round) For the viewing a single route (approximately 2 hours), the final entry is at 3.00 p.m. For the viewing of both routes (4 hours), the final entry is at 1.00 p.m.
All visitors are welcome to view youth performances on Saturdays and Sundays without extra charges from 12.00 – 1.30 p.m.
How much is the entrance ticket?

- 70 baht for Thai visitors and 100 baht for non-Thai visitors.
- Free entry for children with height below 120 cm, students (Must wear uniform or present student card), monks, priests, novices, elders over 60 years of age (Must present ID card) and people with disabilities. Children under 12 years of age and children with special needs must be accompanied by a guardian.

What is the difference between the two exhibition routes?
The first route is comprised of 7 exhibition rooms
which narrate about the history, arts and customs of Rattanakosin since the first establishment to present. Each room provides detailed information through advanced technologies such as models, 4D virtual tools, multi-touch presentation, as well as multimedia animation for interactive self-learning.
The second route is comprised of 2 exhibition rooms.
“The Colorful Thai Way of Living” explains about the evolution of Thai way of living since the beginning of Rattanakosin era until present. The exhibition tour starts from visitors boarding on a boat to explore way of life along the river which reflects cultures and customs that are crucial at every stage of Thai lives. Visitors will later be transported to Charoen Krung Road by the electric tram which is the nation’s first road. The tour concludes at “The Heart and Soul of the Nation”, the exhibition room which gathers the biography, legacies and works of Thai Kings of the Chakri Dynasty from King Rama I to King Rama X.

Is there any parking space and how much are the charges?
Due to limited parking space especially on Saturdays and Sundays, it is recommended to visit Nitasrattanakosin by public transportation or park your vehicle at Wat Ratchanatdaram.

Golden Coffee by Golden Place offers a variety of drinks and quality products sourced from the Golden Place Store.
